Carousel Bar

Enjoy sometime relaxing few hours in our beautiful sun lounge. Also returning for our 2009 season we welcome back our sun lounge organists David & Mike. You can enjoy sessions at 11am to 1pm and 2pm until 4pm everyday except Saturday

The Carousel bar sits almost a quarter of a mile into the Irish Sea and features uninterrupted views of the hustle and bustle of daily Blackpool life.

Escape for an hour and enjoy a relaxing drink from inside the bar conservatory or outside in our open air Victorian Sun-Lounge. Famous for its

afternoon teas, the Carousel bar also serves a

wide range of hot and cold snacks, freshly baked

baquettes, ice creams and mouth-watering cakes

and pastries. At weekends in the Sun Lounge,

we present 'Swing in the Afternoon', featuring

vocalist Tony Mac re-creating the best from the

golden era of Swing.

Every evening, we present live family cabaret

entertainment with DJ Aldini and nightly full

production show presented by the excellent

'Groovy Movie' - in the summer months, dance the night away under the stars

as all our cabaret takes place outside in the Victorian Sun-Lounge. Children are always welcome both day and night and a selection of games and competitions is sure to keep even the most lively child happy and entertained.

This year the North Pier's legendary theatre is

playing host to a galaxy of stars, including

everything from The Bachelors and Freddie Starr

through the million selling Made in Britain and the

  hilarious Billy Pearce Laughter Show.

Don't forget you can enjoy a pre or post theatre

show drink in the Carousel Bar too.

The Carousel Bar is without doubt the best place to

view the world famous Blackpool Illuminations,

offering a panoramic view of the entire promanade

and its Illuminations centre piece, Blackpool Tower.
